Phenomenological basis of dermatology-introduction

I supposed that the reader is a dermatologist ,so I will focus on explaining the relevance of phenomenology to dermatology.
Phenomenology is philosophical/scientific method which was born from the womb of philosophy by the hand of Edmund Husserl (1856-1938) . The work of phenomenology has essential similarity to that of midwife ,phenomenologist job is to let the meaning of experience born, appear,manifested,disclosed,by just giving it the necessary conditions of peaceful ,safe delivery.
So we can say that the meaning of philosophy is delivered at 1900 when Husserl published his masterpiece Logical investigation which is one of the most important book written by human being.
In this book He put the foundations of descriptive phenomenology which is responsible for convertion of philosophy from metaphysical realms to rigrous science .The most important concept which is discussed in this book is the concepts of objectivity which is reduced by those who are engaged by natural science to only physical reality .Husserl disclosed the prejudices which are hidden in their claim which are not an empirical presupposition.
Empirical claim must be derived from the particular experience which are contingent & has a degree of probability which is not present in naturalist scientist claim of certainity.
The term phenomenological implied the presence of the object directly to the consciousness which is not the contingent/empirical/psychological consiousness.This empirical consciousness is the source of error in our judgment because it moves towards judgment without our full -awareness, because it becomes part of the natural world which is controlled by mechanical law. Without detachment from this attitude, there will be no scientific attitude in the phenomenological meaning of science.
Phenomenological primer is the suspending of our familiar way of dealing with the world, we look to as if we see it the first time without any prejudices, this attitude which enable Einstein to see what the other scientist not saw before him. He put all theories & his natural attitude between brackets, for this reason he was nearer to reality than them.
Phenomenological action started after we had underwent this epoche (reduction) which is called phenomenological reduction. The reduction permit our pure ego to be phenomenal, which is the real scientific ego on which every science must be based, it is free from any commitment but looking for things themselves without trying to determine the answer before asking the question, so this method need patience,piety,faithfulness & waiting for the meaning of things to be revealed, so there is no space for hasty or rashness, we ask the thing the proper, appropriate question &then we wait its reply which is described linguistically as the essence of the intended object.
How the dermatology benefited from such discipline which is dealing with philosophical issues.
There is many points in dermatology which are phenomenological in essence .The diagnosis in dermatology is visual regardless of being mediated (histopathological)or un mediated clinically evident. So the starting point is perceptual, the law of perception are applied here from the phenomenological &hermeneutical point of view. Because the object of dermatology is not only the human skin but the person as a whole. We must see the patient as a text which need hermeneutical standpoint.
In dermatology we see the diagnosis visually, this seeing is called diagnosis which is not given to any person ,it need effective background which give the frame(horizon) in which the perceptual data arranged in a meaningful whole called diagnosis.
Dermatological experience is special experience because the skin is given to us trough descriptive concepts which are expressed by specific terms shared by dermatologist only.
The most important step in dermatology on which the diagnosis based is the accurate description which make the skin problem seen by those who are hearing our description,so the dermatologist experience is intersubjective we are seeing &at the same time hearing our seeing as it is intended to be reported .Dermatologist experience is directed to other as listener so make him see the skin problem through our words .For this reasons dermatologist coined their specific terminology.So the have their special phenomenal world which must be taken in consideration when we want to understand the patient & dermatologist,the horizon through which the patient is given is dermatological,this will reduce the patient to special region from the beginning & so will conceal other diagnosis.So this fatal mistake can be avoided through phenomenological approach to patient ,which is open to any diagnosis appear in their horizon.We see the patient as person before seeing him as apatient,because seeing him as patient is judgment which is not given intuitively but taken granted fro the presence of person in my clinic.So it is prejudice which must be suspended until is given by itself in our genuine encountring/experience with the person.
